Lottery fund set up
PA Wellington. A fund of $700,000 for major community facilities has been approved by the lottery board, says the Minister of internal Affairs (Mr Highet). Criteria for assistance under this scheme would be drawn up by an advisory committee, whose
chairman would be a board member, Mr H. Austad. The other committee members will be two each from the municipal and counties’ association The scheme would mainly be for regional facilities.
