PA Nelson 1 A strong upsurge in weightlifting was apparent at the New Zealand junior championships in Nelson, last week-end, when two national records were broken. They were lifts in the 75 kilogram middleweight class snatch of 102.5 kg by John Callaghan, of Nelson, and by Phillip Chappell. also of Nelson, in the bantamweight, with a total of 175 kg.
