Fountain hsa slow start
Fountain Corporation, Ltd, will propose to the annual meeting on September 27, that a tax-free annual dividend of 9 per cent (taking a total of $82,210) be paid on October 4, ex dividend on September 18. The dividend rate was previously 15 per cent (15c a share).
The group suffered a small trading loss for the three months to June 30, but liquidity has since improved and certain units of the group are now trading profitably. Provided sales remain firm, the directors are confident of a satisfactory result for the current year, they say.
