Aid to study Japanese
The Japanese Government is offering two types of scholarships for foreign students wishing to study either the Japanese language or do research work in Japan during 1979.
University graduates aged under 35 on April 1, 1979, may apply for a scholarship to further their studies in the specialist field. Under-graduate students may also apply for a scholarship to study the Japanese language if they are aged between 18 and 22 on April 1, 1979. Further detail., and application forms are available from the Japanese Information and Cultural Centre, 113 Customhouse Quay, Wellington. Completed application forms and documents must arrive at the centre by September 22. 1978.
