Appeal to employers
PA Wellington An appeal to employers to notify all job vacancies to the ' Labour Department’s employment service was made yesterday by the executive director . of the Employers’ Federation (Mr J. W. Rowe). He said that the employment problem called for all employers to report vacancies to the department so
that the vacancies could be matched against job seekers enrolled with the department who were interested in work. Many employers had already noted the quality of workers referred to them by the department, he said. “If employers did not notify their vacancies, the department was severely hampered in assisting suitably quali--1 fied job seekers.
