The Society has 300 farmer members in an area centred around Warkworth. where the appointee will be located It owns 3 aircraft together with 6 loaders and associated facilities. The appointee who will receive ample guidance and assistance from the Chairman in the early stages, will be responsible to the Board for effective management of the Societys activities, including overall coordination of the pilots' operations, administration of cash, maintenance of accounting and cost records, preparation of monthly reports, budgeting. ensuring compliance with regulations, making policy recommendations and various other functions. There will be opportunities for flexibility of working hours and possibly for the appointee's spouse to earn some income. Relocation expenses will be reimbursed and a rental allowance paid for working from home. Applicants, who should be aged 30-50 years, must have a sound administrative background and basic book-keeping ability. Knowledge of aviation would be of advantage but is not essential.
