High school badminton
PA Timaru Christchurch schools took the honours in the South Island secondary schools’ badminton championships in Timaru at the week-end. Cashmere High School won the boys’ section and Burnside High School the girls’. Results.—Boys: Cashmere 8. Timaru Boy’s High School 0; Taieri High School 5, T.B.H.S. 3; Cashmere 6, Taieri 2. Girls: Burnside 8. Timaru Girls High School 0; T.G.H.S. 8. St Hilda’s Collegiate School 0; Burnside 6, St Hilda’s 2.
