Women’s rights

Sir, — In the article on alcoholism ("The Press,’’ July 28) I take issue with the comments made by a so-called male feminist doctor. The women’s movement is for women. Women at long last are becoming more sensitive to their own needs. For too long men have been leeching emotionally off women. If men want to become sensitive to th.ir own and women’s needs they must do it themselves. In my view the women’s movement does not function to serve men. — Yours, etc., J. STARR. July 28, 1978. {
