Centenary at school
Bromley School, which opened in Bromley Road in 1880 and moved to a new site in Keighleys Road in May, this year, will celebrate its centenary in February, 1980. Plans for this event will be discussed at a meeting of interested persons at the new school on the evening of August 1. A centennial committee will be elected.
Organisers hope to use the old school, which has been retained for community activities, during the celebrations.
