Aust. makes five changes
NZPA Sydney The Australian rugby league selectors have made five changes to the victorious second test team for the third and final test against New Zealand, to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground next Saturday. ,>The changes appear to be mainly experimental after Australia's crashing series-clinching 38-7 win at Lang Park on Saturday. ■ Wests’ captain, Tom Ratidonikis, who played his first match yesterday after a month on the sidelines, replaces the Queensland half. Greg Oliphant, who has been named a reserve. ■ The first test captain, Greg Pierce, dropped for the second test, has gained a reprieve at the expense of Queensland's Greg Platz, while Saturday's entire front row, John Donnelly, John Lang and Graham Oiling, is out. St George’s Craig Young, the Manly hooker, Max Krilich. and the forward reserve. Queenslander Rod Morris, make up the new front row. The team is:—John Dorahy, Kerry’ Boustead. Steve Rogers. Mick Cronin. Neville Glover, Bob Fulton (captain!, Tom Raudonikis, Ray Price, Rod Reddy, Greg Pierce, Craig Young, Rod Morris. Max Krilich. Reserves: Greg Oliphant, John Harvey.
