PA Wellington The Arbitration Court has found for the Hotel Workers’ j Union in the “Pacific Installer” demarcation dispute. The president of the Court (Judge J. R. P. Horn) isaid the work of Hotel Workers’ Union members on such 'vessels was in some ways more extensive than that ! normally done by Cooks and i Stewards’ Union members. (Workers engaged in catering: and domestic services on the! “Pacific Installer” operating! at the Maui platform, 221 miles off the Taranaki coast.! Judge Horn said the hotel* workers’ domestic work was! generally more extensive. ‘ particularly in the field of: cabin cleaning and personal laundry for construction and; other workers. “Their work, we find, is in* accordance with their calling.
