Plea for greater taxi use
PA Wellington' I Government support should be considered for the taxi' industry, to avoid choking; cities with private cars, according to the chairman of' the Government caucus com-i mittee on transport, (Mr E. Latter, Marlborough). The taxi industry was the efficient use of the motorvehicle, “not this one-man one-car business where the I car is tied up in town alii (day,” he told the Toad iTransport Federation.
