FOOD TECHNOLOGIST/CHEMIST APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for the position of Research Officer in the Milk Powders and Drying Section of the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute. The successful applicant would be involved in development of consumer products, research into the properties of existing milk powder products and supervision and development of routine analytical and quantitative tests. The work would require liaison with Dairy Companies and other Dairy' Industry organisations. Applicants should hold an advanced university degree in food technology or chemistry. Some experience in the food processing industry is preferable, but not essential. Commencing salary will be based on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience with further advances according to the Institute’s scales and/or on merit.
