When a Greymouth photographer, Mr W. Wilde, went to photograph a polished A428 recently it was in the darkness of the locomotive sheds. Enthusiastic railwaymen, however, quickly coupled her to a diesel locomotive, hauled her from the shed and placed her on the turntable for this photograph.
