Weston sold
Special correspondent Cambridge | I'he smart galloper West-; on has been sold to American interests lor an undis-j closed amount. He was due' to leave for California yesterday. Weston won five races and was also placed from a comparatively light cam paign this season. He is a four-year-old chestnut gelding by Aureate II out of the American-bred' mare Stuka and is a half-! brother to Dive Bomber and Heidelberg, both fine gallopers. All three were bred by' the Putaruru studmaster, Mr R J. McKinnon. Weston was trained by D. .1. O’Sullivan at Matamata for Messrs J. 1.. Murray, of Auckland, and G. P Tankard of Cambridge.
