Airline changes its image
CP Air, the Canadian airline which will carry many New Zealanders to the Commonwealth Games, has introduced a new “Catch Our Spirit” theme to replace its familiar old “Orange is Beautiful” promotion.
“There was a need for a new slogan with promise for the customer while at the same time stimulating the employee team spirit,” an airline spokesman said.
CP Air used to fly from Auckland to Vancouver, but the New Zealand Government withdrew its landing rights about 10 years ago. Its twiceweekly service out of Nandi, however, still provides New Zealanders with their most direct means of getting to Vancouver.
By flying Air New Zealand to Nandi on Fridays or Sundays, New Zealanders travelling even on epic fares can have an overnight break and time for duty-free shopping before continuing on to Vancouver.
