Australian speedster for Canty stud

The talented Australian sprinter. Streaming Star, has been purchased to take up stud duties at the Limerick Lodge Stud recently established on the famed Racecourse Hill property at Darfield. As its name suggests Limerick Lodge was the birthplace of the great racehorse, Limerick, a famous raider of rich Australian prizes. The stud has been established by Mr J. C. McGrouther, a veterinary surgeon who formerly practised in Southland.
Streaming Star won 19 races from 800 to 1400 m .;
His 17 starts at three years! produced nine wins, four! [ seconds, three thirds and a [fourth. One of his wins was at Canterbury in Sydney, and he achieved that victory under 63kg speeding over the 1000 m in 57.25. Streaming Star brings to Canterbury the blood of Star [Kingdom, a famous sire and [sire of sires in Australia. Streaming Star’s sire is Basalt, a stakes-winning son| of Star Kingdom. His dam.
