Teachers’ salary claims
Sir, — M. E. Ritchie (June 9) is absolutely right when she says that job satisfaction will hold and attract teachers to the service. This is the main reason why I have remained in teaching for six years in spite of inadequate monetary return. But the day I have to support a wife and child on my sJary will be the day I have to give serious consideration to finding a better paid job. — Yours, etc., B. WARREN. June 9 1978.
