Fatal fall down bank
Greymouth reporter A Runanga woman died on Monday when the car she was driving left the road at Aickens, west of Odra, and plunged five metres down a bank. She was Carole Jane Holman, aged 31. It is believed that she left for Christchurch about 9 p.m. The car was not round until early yesterday morning.
