GEOPHYSICS Lecturership/Seni or Lectureship (Department of Physics) Preference will be given to . an applicant with a tradi-; tional physics background but with interests and experience in marine physics, particularly physical oceanography. Instruction in geophysics is essentially at the advanced levels but in addition to teaching and research commitments to geophysics the Lecturer would be expected to participate in general undergraduate teaching in the Department.
