Runner back in N.Z.
The former New Zealand Games runner, Mr Fred Davey, now living in Australia, is currently touring New Zealand as rugby coach of the first XV of St Peter’s Lutheran College, Brisbane. The rugby team is one of four sports teams which comprise the touring party. The group will be in the country until May 10. Mr Davey taught at Burnside High School before moving to Australia 18 months ago. In its first match on the tour, the St Peter’s rugby team was overwhelmed, 52-7 by the Shirley Boys’ High School first XV.
