Lyttelton Harbour Board em- [ ployees are still optimistic about • their wage claims, even though j conciliation talks with the Har-1 bour Board Employers’ Association have been shelved for; another month. National conciliation talks started in Wellington last week, but were broken off until May 17 so the employers could study, the claims lodged by the Harbour Board Employees' Union. The union's Lyttelton branch president (Mr L. E. Jones■ said on Monday that he could give no details of his union's claims ' while still in conciliation.
