Bottleneck at airport

More than 4000 people were affected when low cloud closed Wellington Airport for most of the weekend.

Stop Out could not get to Hamilton for its match yesterday and on Saturday Trans Tours United could not get in to Wellington from Christchurch for its match against Columbus Waterside.

Eastern Suburbs arrived from Auckland yesterday on one of the few flights to land before the cloud came down. But after playing Wellington Diamond United, the team found it was stranded.
