Jail terms for women
PA Wellington Two women who admitted a charge of aggravated robbery at a chemist’s shop in Molesworth Street, Wellington, have each' been sentenced to two years jail. “Chemist’s shops are under constant risk from this sort of offending apd burglary, and the public interest must be considered,” Mr Justice O’Regan told Susan Mary King, aged 29, and Frances Denise Woods, aged 20, both unemployed. The offence involved threats with knives to two women assistants in the chemist’s shop, and the theft of drugs.
