PA Auckland Terry Pulman (Grange), the New Zealand amateur g»H champion for the last two tear,, may not be able to defend his title in Hastings next month.
He was taken to hospital last Friday night and operated en the next morning for appendicitis
His father said yesterday that it would not be known for several days whether Terr* would be able to play »t Bridge Pa on May 8.
