High St building goes
The five-storey High Street Chambers building was demolished at the week-end. Contractors moved in and began pulling the building down soon after 8 a.m. on Saturday. The
demolition work also included two Hereford Street buildings which back on to the Chambers. High Street Chambers was built early this cen tury. The site will be used for a two-storev commercial block.
