Mike Pero (Yamaha RD400), of Christchurch, sweeping through a fast turn in a round of the New Zealand up to 410 cu cm championship at the Manfeild circuit. A third place in the final round at Hamilton last Sunday week gave him the national crown at his first attempt. Pero is 18.
