Band to get help again from Dutch
The “Windmill Post,” which sponsors the annual “Miss Windmill” contest, and the Combined Netherlands Society will raise funds to . support the National Brass Band at the world champion--1 ships in the Netherlands in July. They will repeat last year’s national raffle, whicn raised more than $54,000 for the band. The “Windmill Post,” the only national Dutch newspaper in New Zealand, will also give the band the proceeds from the 1978 national “Miss Windmill” contest and the “Miss . Windmill” balls in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. [ The “Miss Windmill" contest eliminations will be ‘held in Wellington on April 15, and Christchurch on April 22, with the final at the Auckland Ball on April 29. People who wish to help ! to raise funds can get “Miss » Windmill” entry forms, ball tickets, or raffle tickets ' from the Combined Netheri lands Society offices in ; Christchurch, or at P.O. Box 2316, Auckland.
