Car torn in two
j A Christchurch woman I had a lucky escape when I her car was tom in two in ! a collision with a transport j ; truck at the Riccarton ! roundabout yesterday. The two halves of the I car were left lying several I metres apart after the ac- ■ cident, which occurred i about 2.10 p.m. j The front of the late j model vehicle was mangled i beneath the fully loaded truck, but the passenger compartment was left intact. The woman suffered only minor bruising and shock.
