Hospital head to retire
Dr R. C. S. Dick, the medical superintendent of The Princess Margaret Hospital since it was opened in 1959, will retire in June.
Dr Dick’s impending retirement was announced at a meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday.
Before taking up his present post, Dr Dick was a senior visiting physician at the Christchurch Hospital as well as being in private practice.
