Rangitikei by-election
Sir, — The Vaiues Party seems likely to remain a negligible element in the field of party politics. But it has some ideas and views which could be acceptable to people in any of the other parties. Would not the Values Party accomplish more for the country if it changed from being a political party to become a league or a society to promote the values which it seeks to promote? People of every party could join it and through their members of Parliament carry through desirable legislation. — Yours, etc., H. S. HAMILTON. February 20. 1978.
