Third Chch success
The Barrington combination of Irvine Parry and Merv Robinson (skip) gave Christchurch a high placing in all three events at the Rothmans national bowling championships when they yesterday won the play-off for third and fourth in the pairs. Morgan Moffat's Linwood team won the fours and Stan Lawson (Christchurch) was second in the singles. Robinson was in control most of the way in his play-off match against Peter Bellis (Aramaho). whose partner was Keith Slight. Robinson led 14-8 after 12 ends, —2l-* after If and finally won, 21-10.
