Motu Prince had every chance and battled on for third, half a length back, with the same margin to Timely Robin. The hot favourite. Lord Module, forced three wide in the middle part, made a dab near the end and was fifth, clear of Harley, Kabase and Main Star, which broke inside the last 400 m.
