Mr E. D. Holt dead
PA Napier Mr E. D. Holt, president of the National Party for seven years, from 1966 to 1972, has died in Napier. He was 64. Mr Holt was chairman of the Hawke’s Bay electorate of the party for 10 years, chairman of the Wellington division for six years, and was a member of the party’s policy committee for seven years. Mr Holt was a stud beef Shorthorn breeder.
