Rights of non-smokers

Sir, — Your correspondent Wendy Ramsey, (“The Press,” November 24, 1977), although stating that I am unknown to her, has hit the nail on the head as I do not own a car, use a bus or have open fires, but I do have a very strong concern for those unable to defend themselves against inconsiderate people who force others to breathe their exhaled smoke. It should be realised that we all have to breathe but not one person has ever been ordered to smoke. Yes, W.R., smoke yourself to hell and back but please do it outside with the buses, cars and chimneys. —• Yours, etc.,

M. J. HUCKLESBY. November 24, 1977.
