Two hurt in crashes
Two persons involved in two separate accidents at about noon yesterday were taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance. Mr Rodney Tinker, of 42 Dunamon Street. Dallington, suffered chest and internal injuries when he fell off his motor-cycle in Hills Road. He was later transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital and his condition is described as fairly comfortable. Mr J. Tobak, aged 26, of Edna Street, Burwood, suffered a broken, leg and head injuries from a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Avonside Drive. He is in a fair condition.
