FURTHER SALES
Two standardbreds which were passed in at a special trials sale at Motukarara on Wednesday', November 9, have since been sold by Wrightson Bloodstock Ltd.
The first, a two-year-old colt by Gerry Mir from Hine Marie, named Junior Mir. was auctioned on account of Messrs M. R. McCuliy and B. T. Reweti, of Invercargill, but passed in at $4OOO. He has subsequently been sold to Mr Ken McDonald, of Woolston.
Royal Signal, a four-year-old gelding by Garrison Hanover from Purple Queen, was also passed in at $4OOO at the sale. On account of W. M. Denton of Christchurch. Royal Signal has been sold to Mr W. R. Bickford and R. Wirley, of California.
