S. Korea up in cup tennis
NZPA-Reuter Seoul South Korea advanced to the Davis Cup eastern zone third round tie with India with a three matches to one triumph over Pakistan after it won a reverse singles match in Seoul on Sunday. Kim Mun-il recovered well from his defeat by the Pakistan captain. Syed Saeed Meer, last Friday to beat Meer Mohammad, three sets to one.
Mohammad also lost to the Korean. Ju Chang-nam, by straight seta on Friday. The Korean pair of Ju and Kim Bong-suk overwhelmed Meer and Manawar Iqbal on Saturday.
