Shark seen at Brighton
Surfers had to be cleared from the sea at New Brighton just before 10 a.m. yesterday when a shark was spotted about 50m from the Clock Tower. The shark, which was seen from a light aircraft, soon disappeared and was not seen again. The police said that there were a number of surfers in the area at the time. All were cleared from the water and warnings were broadcast by Radio Avon and 3ZB±i
