Milk bottles cost more
PA Wellington Milk and cream bottles would cost more from today because of increases in prices charged by glass manufacturers, the general manager of the Milk Board (Mr R. D. Williams) said yesterday. Throughout New Zealand, the regular 600 ml bottles wil cost 15c — so that the price of a bottle of milk bought from a dairy where no empty bottle is exchanged will be 24c in areas where the standard milk price of 9c applies. They had cost 23c. m the South Island, 150 ml and 300 ml bottles will cost 12c, an increase of sc.
