A total of 143,700 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 101,400 special sales. The total was 185,500 fewer than on Tuesday. Industrial shares totalled 140,200 (324,300 on Tuesday), and 3500 mining and oil shares were traded (4700 on Tuesday). A total of 94 issues was traded. The five most active issues
