Coloured taps
An entirely new concept in bathroom decor with the introduction of coloured taps and fittings is included in the “Bathrooms Beautiful” display at the Building Centre. The products were only released recently by G. Methven and Co., Ltd and are exclusive in this field. Methven began the production of plumbing fittings in 1886 and, since that time, the company has been well aware of the need to supply products of the highest quality, incorporating the best materials and craftsmanship combined with up to the minute functional design and elegance. This quality, which enables Methven to satisfy the most discerning client, has necessitated continuing research and de-
velopment into new and improved products; it has necessitated the careful study of world trends in style and design — only the best of which is incorporated into their range of kitchen taps and plumbing fittings. The result is a selection of decorative but highly functional fittings which are among the best that money could buy anywhere in the world and which, through Methven’s extensive export business, earn valuable overseas funds for New Zealand. A full range of the colours is on display at the Building Centre — the best example being the striking black, white and red bathroom featuring Methven hardware in association with Plix Perspect products.
