Increasing crowds at display
Judging by the steadily increasing crowds visiting the ‘‘Bathrooms Beautiful” display at the Building Centre, this exhibition indicates the large degree of interest of the public in what was once regarded
as the “Cinderella” room of the house. The manager of the Building Centre (Mr R. A. Alexander) said that more than 15.000 people already had visited this display and many who had seen
the bathrooms believed that the exhibition should become a permanent feature of the centre. However, this was not practical because of other committtments, Mr Ale-
xander said. He recommended that all those who were interested in modern life style should take the earliest opportunity of visiting the display, which is scheduled to close on September 9.
