Little progress at Lincoln
Concern was expressed over delays on maintenance work on Lincoln College buildings at a meeting of the college’s council. “The architect has been instructed to invoke the provisions of the contract relating to failure on the part of [contractors to complete work within a reasonable ' period of time,” said the principal (Professor J. D. i Stewart). | Although contractors had istarted work in the Burns Swing and in the library- | registry building last month, i progress had been slow and I attendance by the contractors’ staff “only spasmoIdic,” Professor Stewart said.
