New search for Korean seamen
PA Auckland A search for 10 Korean fishermen believed to be drifting on a make-shift raft about 1500 km north of Fiji resumed yesterday after a Taiwanese fishing vessel picked up seven survivors in a liferaft on Saturday. The rescued fishermen said that 10 other crew members of the ship Nam Hae No. 208 had made a raft out of oil drums after the rubber liferaft they were in had sunk soon after the ship sank last Monday. At first light yesterday, a Royal New Zealand Air Force Orion joined four American aircraft in a search of the area. Some fishing buoys were discovered and an empty
