A total of 428.000 shares was traded on New Zealand i stock exchanges yesterday, including 213,600 special i sales. The total was 145.500 more than on Thursday. Industrial shares totalled 422.000 (279.000 on Thursiday). and 6000 mining and oil ! shares were traded (3500 on Thursday). Preliminary figuresi showed the value of exports, during July amounted to $280.1M, while the value of imports totalled 5295 M. Exports for July, 1976, totalled $175.6M and imports 5277.2 M, an excess of imports over exports erf 5101.6 M.
