Handicap, the open sprint at Foxton tomorrow-. The race has been an unlucky one for three year-olds over the years but after a fine final trial at Wanganui yesterday morning, Prince J ee looks set to beat the hoodoo. Three times a winner al two during the winter, Prince l ee makes his three year-old debut tomorrow. 37.8 sec. The Thomson-trained Penrod and Philosopher also worked stylishly in preparation for Foxton. Philospher, registered 38.4 sec in heading Somoy over 600 m. Penrod, which looks particularly strong, beat Cohen and Samsa over 1000 m in Imin 7sec. the last 600 m taking 4O.6sec. The good-looking Alcabar tan a strong 80<)m in 53.65, the list (>oom taking 4O.2sec. Belle Rail and Divine Belle took 39.55ec for 600 m. The Terror, very forward to resume at Foxton, had Helen's Destiny covered after 800 m m 52 Msec, the last 6<iOni tn 39.45ec Bandanu no ran over 400 m in 26 4m < and 1 ryson and Rego's Bar went ftom the >oon < 42 - - Rego Sun, a form runner fo- the loxton Steeples, ended two rounds with 6OOm in 43-.ee.
