Italy clinches cup tie
NZPA Barcelona Corrado Barazzutti clinched the European B zone Davis Cup final for Italy when he upset Manuel Orantes, of Spain, 7-5, 7-5, 6-1. Italy won the tie, 3-2. Italy next meets France, the , zone winner, and the survivor of that series will play the winner of the Ar-gentina-Australia match in the final. Italy holds the Davis Cup.
