Mairehau pupil wins
A Mairehau High School pupil, Alison Cree, has won the first National Conservation Week speech competition organised for Christchurch high school pupils. The competition, organised by the Christchurch branch of the National Conservation Week committee, was judged at the Christchurch opening of the week.
Mairehau High School will receive a carved trophy to mark the win.
