No sign of monster
Nearly one hundred divers with $30,000 worth of underwater photographic equipment have failed to surface with proof that the Ogopogo monster lurks, alive and well, in Lake Okanagan, in British Columbia. A local police spokesman said the 80-member diving expedition, which started work at the week-end, did not attract much of a crowd, though some residents of the city of 53,000 claim 15m, green and slimy Ogopogo has made at least four public appearances this (northern) summer.
